Exploration Geologist – FIFO (Ex-Perth)

The Role
As an Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for managing exploration drilling programs, geological logging, and interpretation, while ensuring all activities meet high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. You will supervise a team of contractors, consultants, and field personnel, contributing to the continuous improvement of exploration operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the exploration drilling program alongside the Project and Senior Exploration Geologists
• Supervise drill rig operations, geological logging, and sampling quality
• Ensure drilling activities are completed to high standards and within budget
• Submit daily and weekly reports with the required content and timing
• Support the development of exploration and drilling programs
• Conduct geological and geotechnical mapping
• Maintain accurate records and geological data systems
• Assist in preparing operational reports, ensuring attention to detail

About You

• A degree in Science (Geology Major)
• Knowledge of Archaean geology and Yilgarn gold deposits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, Micromine, or other geological software
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Current WA class C manual driver’s license
• 4WD competency (certified)
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
